What happens if a person has found the job of her or his dreams in the region but doesn’t want to move without her/his partner? In exactly these situations the network “Job for two” is giving advice. Coordinated by the Chambers of commerce and industry East-Wuerttemberg (IHK) more than 30 companies, associations, communal employers and multipliers, are engaged to find a suitable job for a new employee’s partner.

The project is part of East-Wuerttemberg’s culture of welcome: Specialists are always appreciated – also in twin pack.

East-Wuerttemberg has become established as an attractive location for universities with a wide range of subjects. Aalen university offers a huge span of technical, natural scientific and economical subjects. At Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Heidenheim academic studies can be integrated with workplace training in close cooperation with the regional companies. The university of design in Schwäbisch Gmünd sets its main focus on design, creation and creativity. Studies in educational and social sciences are offered at the pedagogical university of Schwäbisch Gmünd. The state-approved Mobile University (SRH Fernhochschule) with a study center in Ellwangen makes it possible to study regardless of place and time.

At all of these regional universities science and practical application go hand in hand. Besides this their excellent international contacts help their students to get very well prepared for their future jobs.
